Conduct
Honour and Respect for the Integrity of Martial Arts is required for ALL in attendance at the Can-Am. Otherwise disqualification could result.
Judges
Judges will be recognized and qualified instructors in the tournament cricuits and Martial Arts circles. A special “West Coast Can-Am Judge Offical” T-Shirt, lunch and dinner will be provided to each judge official.
Concessions
A food court will be available on site. No outside food or beverages are permitted in the gymnasium.
The Wushu and Sanshou Competitions are sanctioned by Wushu B.C.

Arbitration
All Can-Am arbitrations will require a non-refundable $50.00 CASH fee, before the process begins.
International Sanshou Competition Rules will be used in all Sanshou Competitions. Rules can be downloaded from website: www.shouyuliang.com or call Sifu Derek Cheng at 604.298.5889 for a copy.
Jiu-Jitsu
Jiu-Jitsu will require pre-registration in order to ensure a timely and smoothly run event. All registrations are to be received by the promoter by Monday, May 26th.

All Jiu-Jitsu divisions will be directed by Sensei Ryan Adam and Sensei Joel Wasel. Due to the time constraint and the sensei's committment to run a top-notch event, there will only be adult divisions. The promoter regrets to say that there will be no Kids' divisions.
The Jiu-Jitsu competition will start on time at 10:00 a.m. sharp!

Important Notes
- The Director(s) of each major category reserve the right to create new divisions to further separate the competitors.
- All first place forms competitors are eligible to compete in their respective Grandchampionships finals, see “Schedule of Events” for a list of Grand Championships.
- Best-All-Around Competitors are required to pre-register. See “Schedule of Events” for a list of Best-All-Around Championships and the registration form for details. Registration Forms
must be received by May 8, 2008. - All Winners of Grandchampions and Best-All-Around Championships must attend the evening finals to accept their trophies.
- Minimum time for all Wushu Forms is 50 seconds. Maximum time for Tai Chi Forms is 4 minutes. Competitor’s age is determined as the
actual age in January 1, 2008. - All competitors are responsible to report to their competition rings on time. No refunds for missed divisions.
- Novice: up to 2 years of training Intermediate/Advanced: Over 2 years of training.
- Soft Styles: Traditional Kung Fu, Kenpo
- Hard Styles: Karate, Taekwon Do, Tang Soo Do, etc...
- The promoter reserves the right to refuse any entry.
